From today on, the quality of photographs on this blog could descend into a deep decline. Tomorrow is my first day of law firm work, and I expect I'll see little weekday daylight for the next, oh, forty years or so? Today's photos are so poor because I suddenly realized the now-unfamiliar need to harness the waning Sunday twilight before the week begins.
Anyway, the story is that, whilst awaiting the yarn for the next Zimmermania project in the queue, I ought to be tying up some loose ends. This includes the Circle of Friends Baby Blanket and the long-languishing Forecast, whose extended vacay was undeserved. So I picked her up last night and made a good deal of progress - including the last bobble-cable motif on down through what you see of the ribbing.

So there you go. Long stalled progress. Oh! Also, Miss May is ready for unveiling, but I'm going to hold off a few days on revealing her in anticipation of a knitting slowdown this week.
Posted by jess at September 24, 2006 7:18 PM | TrackBackI love how Forecast looks...that color is great. It's going to be a really cute, funky top, no? Good luck on your first day!
Posted by: Julia MacRobbie at September 24, 2006 8:17 PMAwesome progress! Still looooove that color - god bless Beaverslide.
Posted by: Jenna at September 24, 2006 8:46 PMI hope it goes well! What firm are you at? Is it a permanent job? You've been very quiet about it all!
Posted by: sarah at September 24, 2006 9:05 PMI feel your pain. I've had my first summer off in years, and have been knitting like a freak. In a few weeks I go back to work 6 days a week, and I'm not looking forward to watching my knitting SLOWWWWWW down
Posted by: Patty Lyons at September 24, 2006 9:28 PMAs others have noted already, this color is so fantastic. Can't wait to see Forecast's completion--it's sure to be a real beauty.
Good luck at the law firm this week--
Good luck tomorrow!!! I hope it all goes well and that they let you out of the office on Friday for Spiders. :)
Posted by: Jessica at September 24, 2006 11:11 PMGood luck Jess! I'm sure you'll be fabulous at your new job. And don't underestimate subway knitting time. I was very productive on the F train. Too bad we won't be able to meet up for a Midtown lunch!
Posted by: megan at September 25, 2006 7:13 AMDon't you hate how that work thing gets in the way of the knitting? Boo work, yay knitting! Good luck today! Forecast looks fantastic!
Posted by: jenna at September 25, 2006 7:36 AMGood luck at the law firm! Hopefully the first week wont be too bad because you'll be doing endless Lexis orientation and learning how to record your hours. Trust me, it's REALLY hard to resist the urge to knit during some of the duller parts of orientation.
Posted by: MeBeth at September 25, 2006 9:10 AMForecast looks good, even with the greyer skies for photos. I've noticed quite a few Forecasts being brought back into the light, though perhaps this is only because I've begun my own, and we tend to see reflected around us what concerns us most. And what concerns me right now is reaching the ribbing. Maybe tonight...
Posted by: JulieFrick at September 25, 2006 9:42 AMGood luck at the new job. And Forecast is lovely - still.
Posted by: Stephanie at September 25, 2006 1:15 PMThat really is a gorgeous colour!
Posted by: The Skirt at September 25, 2006 7:20 PMForecast is looking great! Ans, speaking from first hand experience, you will still be able to knit after starting at the law firm...just maybe not as much. I hope your first day is going well!
Posted by: Nonnahs at September 25, 2006 8:37 PMI hope that your first day was a successful one!
Posted by: chica at September 25, 2006 9:01 PMGood luck at work! I've let my Forecast fall by the wayside lately, but I'm set to pick it up again soon. Are you doing the full 5 stitch bobble? I've modified mine to be 3 stitches, but yours looks so fab that I might want to copy whatever you did!
Posted by: Sue M at September 25, 2006 9:23 PMHope the first day at the law firm was good (and is over by now). Forecast is looking good, and I'm looking forward to seeing Miss May.
Posted by: Schrodinger at September 25, 2006 10:39 PMI love the color and the pattern is beautiful.

Posted by: amisha at September 26, 2006 12:32 PMI love how Forecast is knitting up - the color you chose is great, and those bobbles are looking very cool. Hope your first week of work is going well.

I found only this - list of betting odds. New york is considered a longshot to win the super bowl as they are in nfl odds at online sportsbooks. Golf betting from paddy power including uspga championship odds, us masters odds and the ryder cup odds. THX , Mika from Rwanda.
