love that hat, especially the way the two colours dovetail together.
On you it's somewhat reminiscent of a medieval knight's helmet ;^)
I mean that in the nicest possible way!

see, a ginormous hat looks super cute on your normal sized girl head.

however, in order for me to have a super cute picture of a ginormous hat, i'd have to knit it beyond human proportions in order to dwarf my 24.5" head.

sigh... i'd like even one part of me to be tiny and cute...

and yay for knitting for people who never get handknit yummy goodness! you rule!

what did you think of the squid and the whale? it made me long to live in park slope in the late 70s. (it was late 70s, right? i saw it a few months back.) so many elbow patches and floral skirts. still no parking.

That is a great hat! I hace been looking for hats to make for our MS fundraiser this year and I think this might be one of them. Definitely a perfect boarder hat, and this tele-skiier wants one too!

Wow, I have that book but the hat never caught my eye (til now!!) Thanks for sharing your pics!!

seeing "The Squid and the Whale" in Park Slope gave me some sort of weird satisfaction... did you feel the same?

I love that Ganomy.. I want to make another. Great colors.

Great hat, now you can totally reenact the Frenchmen scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail!

Cute hat. It looks like your whole head would be very warm in the winter.

You must be one of the few people who can wear this hat and look cute in it. If I put on a hat like this, my husband will definitely walk ten feet away from me. Nevertheless, I might make one just to keep my ears warm in the winter.

And what a great way to do good, have fun knitting, and get rid of all the scraps!
