Duhn duhn DUUUUUUUHN:

This is a pile of UFOs. Over the next couple of weeks, with your help, I'll be going through and deciding what gets finished and what gets frogged. You haven't seen some of these, and some you haven't seen for quite a long time.
Hope you had an excellent and appropriately scary Halloween. I'm currently being run ragged at work, but managed to snap a few photos of the cuteness in my neighborhood on my way out the door.
I think it feels good to free UFOs which have no hope of completion. Good luck!

Also looked a the photos -- so adorable!
Posted by: Mildawg at November 1, 2009 2:32 PMmakes me feel a little better about my pile of ufos! definitely a good time to do it!
Posted by: Natalie B at November 1, 2009 5:34 PMThe little kid dressed as a purple flower nearly made me keel over from the cute.
As for the UFOs... I third the good luck and am intrigued to know what the big brown thing is.
Posted by: Protagitron at November 1, 2009 9:04 PMHow scary! Just kidding, but I can't wait to see which you decide to ruthlessly frog.
Posted by: Roxanne at November 1, 2009 10:11 PMOh my! You successfully stressed me out with one photograph. I look forward to seeing the progress!
Posted by: Melynda at November 4, 2009 11:04 AMCute pics.
Not sure if you're interested, but I believe there's a Ravelry group dedicated to finishing UFO's. They pick one day each week to work on a particular item of your choice. Tuesday might be just for those socks. Or whatever.
I was tempted to join but I mentioned it to a friend at work and she said,"Everything I'm knitting is a UFO." Which is another way to look at it.
Good luck. Finishing is always easier than it looks, once you get over the hump of picking it back up and finding your place.
Posted by: jessie at November 5, 2009 5:55 AMOMG, I think your so brave outing your ufo's like that. I've got mine hidden and rarely go looking for them. Maybe this post will give me some courage to hunt them down and frog? just typing that word makes me cringe.
Posted by: Karen at November 7, 2009 12:29 PMAmazingly enough, my pile still might be larger than yours...and I wonder why I'm missing soo many circular needles.
