Is anyone else out there considering making the Suri Merino High Neck Cable? I kind of love it (and it's got a button-up neck in common with Veronique's Transparencies pattern from Sensual Knits, which is also adorable).

You may have guessed, since it's been Halloween at Fig and Plum for almost a month now, that I am in a knitting / photographic slump. I'm a proverbial dropped stitch in need of a big inspirational crochet hook, you might say (GOOD LORD make me delete that). Alas, there just hasn't been much to report.
But perhaps you would like to see what's on my new, improved list of fabulous gift suggestions! (This is a list of wishes and a list of gifts that might be nice for others, so it's a gimme gimme as well as givvie givvie list!)
ps - did you see that Elli posted the pattern for her herringbone mittens? POM. Thanks Elli!
pps - I meant to show you this too - have you seen this unbelievable wall decal?

Ooh, I hadn't seen that Blue Sky Alpaca pattern. Maybe because I was too busy drooling over their Scooped Neck Vest...
Glad you like Transparencies :) Although it's knit on size 4 needles, the knitting goes by surprisingly quick. I swear.
That sweater's beautiful. I think Veronique's is more suited to my body (big bewbs + cables + turtleneck = terrible).
Posted by: E to the M at November 29, 2007 11:30 AMThe high neck sweater is beautiful, but I have yet to see a close up picture of it (which is frustrating).
It's hard to post sometimes if inspiration doesn't strike or if it strikes when you're away from the computer...
Posted by: connie at November 29, 2007 11:59 AMI'm not making this, but I'd like to. Wendy over at Knit and Tonic is making it, though.
Posted by: christyn at November 29, 2007 12:17 PMOoo, yes...I like that sweater a lot. Very classy. I like that color too, I could also see it in a purple-y burgundy, or deep red. I want her boots too, with maybe just a little bit thicker heel.
Posted by: Julia at November 29, 2007 2:18 PMThanks for bringing that high-neck suri merino sweater to my attention--what a beautiful pattern! Reminds me of Kate Gilbert's Cinnabar Pullover from the Fall 07 IK, but with a little extra oomph from those cables. And I had no idea Sensual Knits was out already--double thanks!
Posted by: Andrea at November 29, 2007 9:27 PMi NEED that mr. t! so so so so cute!!!!
and those mittens are the POM! (sorry.)
Posted by: carrie m at November 29, 2007 11:05 PMI'm thinking about ordering the yarn for it. I've added it to my queue.
Posted by: Ling at November 30, 2007 12:25 AMI do like that sweater although I wish I could see it from a different angle! Thanks to linking to the pattern for the POM mittens. I've been admiring them for a while and am happy for a pettern!
Posted by: casey at November 30, 2007 2:25 PMThat wall decal is fab! I want one! Too bad they are so expensive (especially with the Euro exchange rate right now).
Posted by: Lauren at November 30, 2007 6:32 PMLove the wall decal!! We just started painting the apartment, maybe I can persuade Mr. B? Yeah Right ;)
Posted by: schrodinger at December 2, 2007 10:41 PMOh my lord the knitting wall decal! What on earth is being "knit" there, though? Hmm...
