I am re-dedicating myself to Apartment Therapy's Rx for weekly flowers. Above, this week's flowers - hydrangeas and clover from a bodega on 7th Ave.. We'll see how long they live, since bodega flowers notoriously expire young.
Since there's not much else to report here, how about a few links elsewhere?
where to begin? the squid disturbs me a little, but it's offset by the pom pon. or pon pom. or whatever.
loooove best in show. and need a tissue holder.
Posted by: carrie m at October 13, 2007 1:46 PMthanks for the plug, lady. i do hope you like your earrings. :)
i thought that said "respect the p0rn." i was like, "geez, i don't like where fig and plum is heading. . ." but the "pom"? AWESOME.
Posted by: Sandra at October 13, 2007 3:50 PMI love having fresh flowers in the house, but I have a hard time finding ones that last longer than a few days. The hydrangeas are gorgeous!

Posted by: Sarah at October 16, 2007 9:24 PMAck! So behind on the blog reading! Glad the pom is getting some respect :) Now what's this about the possibility of you moving back to B-town? Don't you lawyerly-types have to stay in your state of bar-taking?
Posted by: Elli at October 19, 2007 1:45 PMThat last link is really a disturbing event! Some people really have no respect for others. That is really sad.
The bag is really cute!
Posted by: Dorothy at October 19, 2007 6:12 PMOh man - I haven't seen that KITH song for ages. They slay me. 'worms eating your - eyes'
That squid is awesome.
The Columbia thing is atrocious. I cannot even believe there are such hateful people (though any glimpse of daily news should prove otherwise - I seem to go Pollyanna all the time) out there. I always wonder if they seriously think they are sending a message other than 'I'm an ignorant jack*ss' - because they're not.
Posted by: Miss Scarlett at October 19, 2007 10:48 PMWOAH. Small world - I just recently moved out of Bloomington! I was there for quite a while actually. I miss several things about it, including the arts community.
Etsy rocks. And takes my money. but I'm OK with it.
