Look, it's another salubrious-looking fig & plum recipe! The Kitchen at Apartment Therapy provides this figgy / plummy take on clafoutis: Fig and Plum Flognarde. And hey look, A.D.D. knitter baked the original Fig & Plum cake!
Posted by jess at September 23, 2007 10:39 AM | TrackBackMmm, flognarde? I had no idea that a clafoutis was a cherry-only affair. Thanks for this tidbit and, of course, the recipe!
Posted by: Heather at September 23, 2007 11:00 AMOh my god - seriously. Your blog has me drooling.
I LOVE clafoutis - and also didn't know that name is reserved for the cherry version only.
The figs look gorgeous. But -- that recipe linked to an Big Apple Pancake recipe that I am definitely making for breakfast tomorrow since I have a box of apples just languishing on my counter. So yummy baked - from a friend's tree and she has no idea what they are. They are like giant macs only crisper and tarter.
Thanks again.
