So we leave tomorrow for Croatia, and this will probably be my last post for a while. In case you are wondering what traveling project I settled on, I haven't decided yet! Terrible, I know. But I'm leaning toward the Yoga Mat Bag (photo for non-Ravelers) from Greetings from Knit Cafe. It's a perfect project - no shaping, not too complicated, and COTTON. Trouble is, I have to locate both book and yarn by tomorrow afternoon - argh! It calls for Rowan All Seasons Cotton Printed - any yarn subs suggestions if I can't put my hands on it?

I just picked up a ball of Lily Sugar'n Cream in Key Lime Pie. Variegated yarn in shades of white to green. Very pretty and inexpensive.

Plymouth Fantasy Naturale would be nice. It's not very soft, but would be fine for a yoga bag, and they have some awesome variegated colorways. Plus, it's cheap!

Any luck yet? It might be time to bite the bullet and just go to Save-A-thon to see what cotton blends they have, or - if you're near the JMZ, Smiley's would probably have more choice.

Ooh, ooh, I designed the yoga mat bag!!! *How exciting!* Any of the above yarns would work really well; so would Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece, I think (it may be a smidgen thinner though). When I make one for myself, I'll probably use good ol' Sugar 'n Cream.
