Birchbath

birch pre-blocking
Wash Me

Whew! Finally, a finished object. Well, finished if you count pre-blocked items as "finished." She's now due for a bath and the string-blocking treatment. I hope to manage a full report before the week is spent... stay tuned!

PS - Thanks for all your wonderful travelin' project suggestions! I am still mulling them over...

Beautiful shawl! Birch is such a great pattern. Love it in the steely gray color too.

Beautiful Birch. And it looks like maybe you used something a tad more substantial than the called-for kidsilk haze? I can't wait for the report!

It's beautiful! Best of luck with the blocking. And have fun in Croatia and Italy. I was just in Dubrovnik myself, it's beautiful and with plenty of nice cafes where you can sip a latte and knit a row or two on whatever travelling knitting you decide on!
