Phildar Collection Printemps 1

UPDATE: Fig & Plum is back online! Just so you know, I was NOT delinquent in paying LivingDot. It's so annoying that their outage message says that! My site is, I am told, being attacked by comment spam, and it's threatening to crash their servers. Since all that stuff gets stuck in my spam filter, I never see it and had no idea I was being beseiged so. Anyway, there may be another outage at some point, who knows. Apologies for the temporary disapperance, though!

In addition to the IK preview, there's a new Phildar mag out (Collection Printemps 1). The neckline on the sweater above is intriguing. With a less-busy yarn, this could be stunning. There are a few projects I'd make from here, given the time.

Sigh. Wouldn't three weeks in France be nice? A non sequitur, I know, but that's just how I'm feeling today.

Oh, and additionally re: IK yesterday, did you see the tassels on Eunny's socks? Brill!

You're right, that is a very intriguing neck treatment. I wonder if it is integral or sewn on.

i did not see the tassels!! now i'm beginning to think that they would be the ultimate in hip boot socks :)

I'm probably doing a three-week refresher course this summer; come with me!

Posted by: Jezabel at January 25, 2007 10:41 AM

i didn't see the tassels either. But what a perfect touch on those socks!

I could go for a few weeks in france. Belgium or the Netherlands wouldn't be bad either for that matter...

France in the winter is utterly depressing. The sun rises super late, like 8am, and sets by 4pm. And when there is natural sunlight, it is dreary. Just FYI...
I've spotted completely different knits in Phildar! I like page 10.

Oooh. The deep v neck sweater is gorgeous!

I'm fairly new to knitting and had not seen Phildars mags, thanks for the link, some fab patterns!

It would have to be a not-busy-at-all yarn, I think...Kind of reminds me of the cable collar sweater a few Vogues ago, actually, but on this one the collar is kind of puffier.

i find that closing comments on anything older than 4 to 5 months really helps curb comment spam too. also, on the SCODE plugin prefs, do you have it set to automatically reject comments that don't input the code? or do you have it set to add them to the junk folder? you may have better luck if they are automatically rejected.

Eurgh, that sucks about your site being down and the message they put up. Sorry I had to dash off right after you arrived yesterday, it wasn't personal really :)

One of the Frenchies in our dept. brought me that very issue of Phildar upon her return from home and I was eying that very sweater. I agree with the less-busy yarn part as well...

That is awful! They need a much better message than that for outages - how rude. Love the deep V neck.
I didn't notice the tassles - I am going to have another look. I love that sock pattern.

Woops, again a blank post. . .

Yes, I second the thoughts on Page Dix. So spring-y. Best Irlandais is pretty great, too!

And what is it with European companies featuring horrid variegated yarns and fur in all the wrong situations??

And France in the winter? I'm astonished, really, considering when I lived there one summer doing research (Bordeaux, Universite I) the daylight was great. Dusk at 10 pm!

Hello from the south of France where it's not depressing at all ! Now, in winter, the sun sets around 6pm and we have a lot of sunshine!!!
Welcome!
And concerning the last Phildar's issue, I love the pink jacket p22!

I just spent three weeks in France. And some time in Phildar. And it was lovely. I didn't realise Rowan was so close or I would have gone there as well. Any men's scarf pattern recommendations for 5 skein's of phildar laine that will match Ms. fig's cashmere ribbed hat pattern?

Good evening. The most remarkable thing about my mother is that for thirty years she served the family nothing but leftovers. The original meal has never been found. Help me! I find sites on the topic: Mlb betting odds. I found only this - hatton pacquiao betting odds. Bet on the nfl at the top online sportsbooks. Pga championship betting golf odds at bodog sportsbook. Thanks for the help , Lovey from Comoros.

If you're in uncomfortable position and have no money to get out from that point, you will require to take the loans. Just because that will help you definitely. I get student loan every single year and feel OK because of this.
