A few photos of Catty on her favorite sills - she can be so difficult to photograph sometimes!

Our neighborhood at 9AM this morning, before all hell broke loose
three comments on three sets of pics:
1. yum. i mean, really. yum.
2. yay for catty's triumphant return to photographic life! lovely as ever, silly (as in sitting on a sill) as always!
3. ooooh, the first one's super pretty.
Posted by: heatherfeather at July 5, 2006 1:59 PMmmmmm, chockylit cupcakes! i've always want to try her recipes but it just seems like a lot of work to me :) and i'm terrible in the kitchen (though my baking skills are so much better than my cooking skills).
catty looks happy. if you weren't looking hard, you would never know that she's missing a leg! all that fur :)
Posted by: gleek at July 5, 2006 2:23 PMAwww, Catty Three Legs looks so good. I have been anxiously awaiting pics of her. Thank you so much!
Those cuppy-cakes look delish!
Posted by: Skylar at July 5, 2006 2:39 PMNow I am craving cupcakes. Those look really tasty.
Catty is looking good.
That is a bloody lot of water.
This morning was BAD! I got caught in it - wet pant legs up to my knees. And flip-flops in the rain - an accident waiting to happen! Stay dry Jess!
Posted by: Delica at July 5, 2006 3:25 PMawwww catty is looking so great! it's wonderful to see her all healed up and catty-like.
Posted by: jody at July 5, 2006 4:10 PMthose cupcakes are the MOST DIVINE morsels. ever. tried them a few weeks ago, and they were quite possibly the reason that my jeans didn't seem to fit properly this morning.
and catty is fabulous - a total trooper.
Posted by: semaphoria at July 5, 2006 4:30 PMI could not believe the torrents of rain when I came out of the subway this morning! I got as wet as Delica. Ugh. Your picture with the bruised sky looks great!
Posted by: Veronique at July 5, 2006 4:31 PMoh. my. goodness. I will be making those cupcakes.
Catty looks gorgeous, as always!
Posted by: holly at July 5, 2006 4:42 PM1. YUM
2. YEAH!!
3. If you'd like to get rid of some of that rain, please send it my way. Looks like you get in one storm what I get in an entire year.
Oh man, that looks yum! And that sky! I love the sickly green the sky takes on before a cool summer storm. Those are typical in Oklahoma.
Posted by: Robyn at July 5, 2006 5:52 PMYay Catty!!
Posted by: Chris at July 5, 2006 7:18 PMCatty looks radiant. Congratulations on her triumphant return.
Posted by: teabee at July 5, 2006 7:28 PMCatty seems to have a lot of grace to her. She is a stunning cat, and all that gorgeous fur makes me want to pet her! :)
ps those cupcakes look really yummy.
Posted by: natalie at July 5, 2006 9:56 PMI'm in CT and we must of gotten the same storm. It lasted awhile too.
2 strong thunderstorms in as many days- we got a storm the 4th too. Gotta love this time of year. Stay dry.
Posted by: sunflowerfairy at July 5, 2006 10:03 PMOh Catty! She looks perfect now that her furs came back! Yay Catty!
Posted by: Julia at July 5, 2006 10:13 PMSo happy to see catty all perky and, well, being a cat!
Posted by: Robin at July 6, 2006 12:08 AMCatty looks fantastic! One of my boys had a small tumor removed from his back and he looked like Frankenkitty forever--it took so long for his fur to grow back over the incision. She looks just great. The cupcakes look pretty fab, too.
Posted by: Angela at July 6, 2006 12:24 AMMmmm. Aren't her cupcakes the best?
I couldn't make the Chocolate Chai ones for enough events last month. I think everyone but me is is sick of them.
Now to try the Vietnamese Coffee cupcakes. Yum!
Yours turned out beautifully.
Catty!! Yay - look at you basking in the windows. I love seeing contented cats.
What a storm you had today! Sheesh. We had about 5 minutes of the lightest sprinkling of rain I have ever experienced. Not even enough to affect the temperature.
Hope things are better for you tomorrow.
Gorgeous pic of pre-storm sky.
Posted by: Miss Scarlett at July 6, 2006 2:50 AMHurrah!! Catty has returned and looking quite lovely!!
That looks like the rain we had yesterday, try to stay dry.
Hope these cakes tasted as good as they look.
So happy to see Catty in her full glory again.
So glad that I'm away on vacation and completely missed that nasty downpour - stay dry.
Posted by: schrodinger at July 6, 2006 12:07 PMCatty looks good as new!!
Posted by: delia at July 6, 2006 12:29 PMHi Jess,
I echo everyone's sentiment about Catty! So glad to see her up and running (pun intended) again! She's so elegant on the sill.
I'm also sans knitting content these days...hmmm...strange...
