As if to torture me, the new Everyday Food has an "In Season" feature on strawberries, which includes this scrumptious-looking strawberry tart. I'm also dreaming of strawberry scones lately. And what's more, there's this recipe in one of Martha's older books that I can't find on her site - sugar-glazed wonton wrappers with whipped cream and fresh strawberries. The berry-lust continues.
Go on, slap me again! And this time use a knitted strawberry!
Sometimes when I think about all those unattainable berries I feel like this guy.

Cute knit strawberries! I love Nancy Bush's socks they're always so nice.
By the way, try using a mock green house to grow your own strawberries without worrying about smog pollution. Just take off the clear cover on nice dry days and replace at night and on humid or rainy days. Be extra careful about your watering practices though.
