I'm untangled and reskeined, and I feel so much better about myself!
YAY! I knew you can do it! :D
That yarn is bee-yoo-tee-ful! Can you imagine how a pair of Jaywalkers would look in that yarn? Wow. *drools*
Posted by: Sandra at February 1, 2006 7:43 PMI am so happy with it as well!
Posted by: Joelene at February 1, 2006 8:11 PMOh my goodness!! I love it!!! I totally had to untangle one of my skeins too. Now I'm afraid to wind up my other one for fear that that one is a tangled mess too.
Can't wait to see how those colors knit up together! Gorgeous!
Posted by: Lisa at February 1, 2006 8:37 PMThe yarn looks great - isn't it amazing how much nicer it looks when reskeined. Great job on detangling!
Posted by: Marie at February 1, 2006 8:38 PMThat is so yummy!!
Posted by: Scout at February 1, 2006 8:44 PMThis is unrelated to this post in particular, but I just spied Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in your sidebar. Best Bollywood movie ever!!!
so how do you "reskein" yarn? i just made mine into a center pull ball but i'd love to know how you get it to look like you have it here.
Posted by: gleek at February 1, 2006 9:36 PMOoh, the colors really pop in the reskein, very nice!
Posted by: spaazlicious at February 1, 2006 11:59 PMThe yarn looks great!
Posted by: Iraida at February 2, 2006 8:53 AMThose colors are amazing! Nice dyeing job. How does one get invited to these spiders events??
Posted by: Diana at February 2, 2006 9:36 AMThose are so pretty. Great job! I love the colors.
Posted by: Maritza at February 2, 2006 11:51 AMI'm pretty sure I would pay a lot of money for skeins that look like that in a store. Which is why I really have to learn how to dye my own stuff. (Or is it just an excuse to learn to dye?)
Either way, they look fabulous. I'm a huge fan of re-skeining in general.
Posted by: Jackie at February 2, 2006 12:01 PMThat yarn is just gorgeous. you must be so pleased!
Posted by: regina at February 2, 2006 12:51 PMWOW those colors are absolutely gorgeous!
Posted by: amanda at February 2, 2006 12:58 PMpreeeeetty!
Posted by: mimsie at February 2, 2006 1:00 PMI love the colors in that. Normally orange doesn't do it for me but that changed my mind!
Posted by: delia at February 2, 2006 1:28 PMIt has not escaped my notice that the Spiders (and guest) who did not get sick had very tangled skeins. There is justice in the world.
Your colors looks very alluring once re-skeined...
My counterpane bag is almost exactly 12" X 12". I found it to be a really fun knit. I'm thinking my leftover yarn will eventually be the accessories bag.
Thanks for the comment!
Posted by: Jackie at February 2, 2006 11:50 PMThat's gorgeous! Beautiful colours, looks very textural as well -- what's the content?
Good luck with Lady E; as for the Birch, I can't even imagine contemplating such a mission!

Posted by: gallant_duck at February 3, 2006 7:22 AMIt looks just like my Cherry Tree Hills DK in the peacock colorway, with which I'm going to make my clapotis. Gorgeous!
Posted by: zoom! at February 4, 2006 8:25 AMSo pretty! I love the color combo you used here. Very good eye you have!
Posted by: Aimee at February 4, 2006 12:49 PMI just realized I haven't commented since the party! It was great meeting you - you are just as inquisitive and high energy in real life as you are on your blog - always keeping us on our (knitting) toes, so to speak!
Can't wait to see more progress on birch - and that colorway? OMG...Great use of complimentary colors. Jaywalkers? Or...something else...
