Baby Ull in the Dryer?

. . . and how do we feel about putting Dalegarn Baby Ull in the dryer for slight shrinking purposes?

Hmm. I'm pretty sure my Baby Ull socks have been thrown in the dryer a couple of times, and I haven't noticed any shrinkage. :-/

I have to agree with Rebekkah - Baby Ull doesn't seem to shrink. Beautiful job with the stockings, though!

I've made socks of Baby Ull and thrown them in washer and dryer. My experience is that they look shrunken but it's more like the wool becomes wonderful little springs. The socks still fit, though they measure a smaller length out of the dryer.

Is this about shrinking or about mistakenly throwing it into the dryer?

If it's for shrinking, go for it!

My experience with babyull is that the garments tend to grow larger after machinewash. They definitely don't shrink.

I've machine washed/dried a baby sweater knit with Baby Ull numerous times. No shrinkage so far and I think it gets better (softer and the stitches look better) each time. It is getting a little fuzzy but I'm not careful about what I wash it with --it's been washed with denim and corduroy.
