Stash Update

Voici la stash! Time to check in and see where all that yarn is headed. Feel free to suggest projects where the note says "Project: ???" if you gots any ideas:

UPDATE: A few people have asked about my storage cubes. I (rather ambitiously) built them myself according to these directions for "Bathroom Cubbyholes" from Martha Stewart Living. I never got around to painting them, and they were far too big and heavy for our crumbly bathroom walls. But they do provide handy yarn storage. Here's a photo of the whole stack in action.

You always make the prettiest most flattering things and all of this yarn is so stunning and luxurious and beautiful. I think, however, that what I need to do is come over and look through all your pattern books before I can recommend anything! :)

Great stash pictures. It looks like a yarn store.

You could look at Louisa Harding's THE ACCESSORIES COLLECTION for ideas. There are some patterns that you could use the Andean Silk or Mystical Creations Yarn for.

I love the stash cubbies!!! Where did you find those (or did you make them yourself??) Looks like a yarn store! I need a way to display/protect my stash in a nicer way (and in a way where I can readily see what I have).

Yours looks great!

Love your organizational skills! My yarn is in bags in my dining room...I don't have any suggestions for unallocated stash (since I have so much of my own to allocate...maybe a yarn swap?) BUT, I have a question - which Phildar Tendances sweater are you making? That's such an interesting yarn, and I don't see it in the '05/06 tendances...I've become quite the phildarphile of late!

Ooh.. that's Kureyon #88, isn't it? I just wish I liked Kureyon as much as I love that colorway.

Okay, another comment since you added info about the cubbies. I was going to ask about them and was envisioning an entire WALL of them. heh Glad to know you're not holding out on that kind of stash, but you sure can store a lot in just that one tower! Looks so nice and I can imagine a hundred uses for the cubbies. Don't paint them!
