Ooh. I've been thinking of those lace knee socks from IK ever since I got that issue. I hope you do them soon! I recently received a skein of Blackberry Ridge laceweight, which is really closer to a fingering weight, and those socks are on my list of possible projects for it. Wool/silk on my feet? Are they that deserving?

... fig and plum ... when you get to it ... consider the lady eleanor in the fiesta yarns ... la boheme ... four skeins ... the original forever random blends is ver medievally scratchy!!! ... need the horse and sleigh for the snowride ... and wear it over the coat!!! ... not cuddly at all ... saw the original @ purl soho when the trunk show was there ... unfortunately most disappointing ... happy day ... ina and gumby

I too want to make Lady Eleanor. I like to imagine myself in Lady Eleanor strolling gracefully around Budapest or in a dusky bookshop in Paris. Umm, yeah, neither of these scenarios are ever likely to happen, but that scarf is fab.

Oh! Thank you for reminding me about the Irish Hiking Scarf! I wanted to knit that one but I was so enamored with Clapotis! Off to the knit shop!

Good job on the Norwegian socks, they are *fab*! And it looks like you're in for some fun with your upcoming projects, good choices, all.

Glad to see you back... I was getting ready to comment here, and then I saw that your site expired! That is so crazy.

We have many of the same projects in mind! I am working on that Cami/Cowl set from Weekend Knitting now, and those cabled socks and the Sugarplum fairisle are also on my list. Lovelies!
