No thanks to Catty, I have completed the decrease section on the body of my Union Square Market Pullover.

I try to teach her to knit, and all that lazy arse does is lay on my yarn, clean herself, and fall asleep! We'd all be much better off if she'd just learn to read a pattern so that this USMP wouldn't take until March to complete, now wouldn't we? Catty, you're not helping. You're not helping at all.

(And these two are soooo much better. Ha!)

see, i've been teaching ernie to knit and he's more interested in smelling a piece of lint on the floor. sometimes barking at people when they go by the windows. and on REALLY good knitting days, he gets all tangled up in the yarn that i've so inconveniently stored in my stash basket that gets in the way of a good nap.
no good, lousy pets.

I got an old carton out of Robinsons storehouse and set it on end against the patio wall. Bluebell immediately sat herself inside this little three-walled house. Then the first ping-pong lesson began. I knelt down two yards away from her and placed the ball in front of me. She crouched in readiness as if it were an ordinary ball game. With my middle finger and thumb I pinged the ball into Bluebells box. It bounced against the walls. The cat sprang at it and batted it back. I sent it over again to Bluebell. This time she caught it in her forepaws and curled up on the ground, biting it and kicking it with her silver hind pads. However, for a first lesson her style was not bad.
