This forum has heard me many times before profess that I find progress shots dull. But progress shots of Clapotis, I mean please, how many of those have you seen by now? Being inundated with progress shots of the World's Most Frequently Knitted Garment is truly less exciting even than seeing Britney and Kevin Talk Dirty About One Another or than watching The Mint Grow. So unless something exciting happens, if, say One of my Cats Eats Part of the Clap, or if The Virgin Mary Appears in the Clap, or if The Clap Saves an Old Person From Being Flattened by an Oncoming Vehicle, I will post photos of it. But for now, you've just got to deal with me and my insipid text.
Or, if I'm boring you, why not go learn how to do some stuff? Remember the old Learn2.com, where they had those "2torials" on how to change tires and bathe cats and stuff? Check out Lifehacker, which is like that, except hipper and more useful. It's like a whole website of Good Things. Like how to hang spaghetti-strapped clothes on a wire hanger (btw, what's a paper stopper?) and how to make ginger ale and root beer at home (that's for you, Manion).
Oh, and I almost completed the book meme before promptly closing my browser before I saved it. By the time I finish, it will be time for the rest of you to complete it all over again!
(I'm not going to write about London today, but it suffices to say I hope you and your loved ones were not affected. It saddened me this morning because it was tragic. It also saddened me this morning that I - joining most of the rest of the world - have awakened every day for the past fourish years aware, somewhere inside, that such tragedies are possible).

re: london, i'm at the point where i can't even say anything at all. especially when i think about what i'm going into when i'm going to have to say and do things about terrorism for the rest of my life. it's too much to think about all the time. my reluctance to talk about it online doesn't make it less scary or horrifying or incite any less rage, but i've got to draw a line somewhere...
lastly, i'm going to the city for july-september for an internship... any lys recommendations? i have NO idea where i'm living yet, so at the moment the neighborhood doesn't matter!
