So in a typical fit of indecisiveness regarding l'autre Clapotis, I started a second one using the sport weight yarn I bought to make one for my sister (should I manage to stay on her good side long enough for her to want it). That one was, likewise, supposed to weigh 8 oz. and contain 625 yards, but in fact it weighs over 10 oz.. With a little luck, the actual yardage will be at least enough for a complete Clap.
So above, you can see progress after 6 total increases in section 2. One more increase to go before section 3. At this point it's 16" wide, and I imagine the end width will be around 18", plenty big for me.
In other news, our friends Tim and Cat got hitched yesterday at Galapagos. It was a short and truly sweet ceremony, and the space was grand. Good times. Today we're off to Long Beach, and tomorrow holds the promise of a couple of BBQs. Quel weekend!
