My friend Sarah pointed out that with her hair down, she really looks like Ani diFranco, circa Dilate. So I'm calling her Ani DollFranco.
Next on the agenda for the Public Interest Auction? Perhaps a Dean Ricki Revesz doll - he has the hair for it...

tere - yes, there is something great about these dolls w/o clothes - i actually also think the yarn ends streaming from their hands and feet is kinda neat somehow. i did follow a pattern - it's the Best Friend Dolls pattern from the Summer '02 Interweave Knits; every year they run a section in their summer issue of knitted gifts, and it's in there.

Did you ever post your glitten pattern? I've been knitting the one from Knitty (Broadstreet), and they're too big for me! It's nice that my sweetie will actually wear them--at least he says he will--but I wanted the Lorna's Lace.

I'm definitely going to make some up for that. The spring o1 of IK has a neat topsy-turvey doll that's fulled. Both will be hits given the demographic of the school.
Have you ever seen the knitted farmyard? I got the book on ebay a while back and is just too sweet. That too would be another big hit here. I'm afraid I'd h ave a hard time parting with it after completion though.
