For what it's worth, this blog finally (after what, three years?) has an "About" page. People have been bugging me to put one up. You can access it from here or the sidebar. Lower your expectations, because it's bare bones!
I so understand the "poor and overeducated, but happy" statement. Good luck with your studies! How do you do it?

Posted by: jolt at January 18, 2005 7:33 PMyup, it's straight in that photo. the short version of the story is that i went to the Aveda Institute for a trim (i.e. 1.5 inches off or so) and came out with MEGA SHORT layers resulting in about 5 inches off my hair. i tried straightening it to reduce the mushroom-head factor. i've forgiven the poor beauty school waif who doesn't know the difference between 1.5" and half a foot, but i'll be happy when it grows out a little.
