I was perusing eBay yesterday looking to build my vintage portrait collection when I came across a couple of portraits by L.A. artist Susy Keely. I am now ridiculously in love with her figurative work and want one super bad. She seems to paint primarily (if not all) women, who all seem a bit like someone you'd want to know. Her prices are reasonable but sadly out of range - NYU just refuses to allot money for fine art purchases in our annual student budgets!
