Kelia Cummins, a friend of mine from law school was featured in a NY Times article this weekend, and it's worth checking out. Her sister, who is 11th in her class in an NYC public school, was told that only the top five students in her class of over 1,000 students could apply to Ivy League schools, and that no one was allowed to apply early decision.
