Today's Manhattan User's Guide featured summer reading recommendations from MUG readers, who have better than average taste and appear to steer clear of the novels-about-shopping-and-the-Upper-East-Side genre seemingly favored by Daily Candy. I can vouch for Pattern Recognition, and am eager to try some of the others on the list.
