Finally, this Sunday yielded a chance to spend some time just riding my bike up and down the streets of Wicker Park. I stopped in this morning at Sweet Thang for coffee and a croissant - thos of you who recommended that place, well done! Too many bakeries these days advertise as "croissants" dry, tough footballs of bread. Sweet Thang's were perfect (if a little too big to be bona-fide French, but this is America - with proper croissants they'd go out of business). Most staff also seem to parlent francais, for the francophones among you.
