Lookout Hipsters: The Pillowcase Skirt Goes Pleated

superskirt.gif

Who knew pleated skirts were so easy to do? A Le-Tigre-fan poster over at Craftster made her bad self a pleated miniskirt out of a Spiderman pillowcase, and it doesn't look much more difficult than your typical pillowcase skirt. She's included a nice little tutorial on pleats as well. Too bad my sewing machine's in Brooklyn, so I'll have to impose on Joy for hours on end stitching projects like this.

Also recently on Craftster, this felt monster doll could kick the butt of any Ugly doll who crossed its path (although you have to admit, you kinda wish you had an Ugly doll, don't you?). Looks like another project for my neice, Lorin.
