Last year, C. and I went to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden's Annual Cherry Blossom Festival. Although it was crowded, it rocked my world. This year's festival is on for May 1-2, but the blooming has already begun - in fact, the BBG has set up the Cherrywatch Blossom Status Map, updated daily that denotes which trees have bloomed and where in the park they're located. Handy for avoiding the crowds, and for enjoying the cherry blossoms all spring long!
